How to use it
Lather the bar in your hands or in the mesh pouch. Spread it on your neck, chest, back and underarms and leave it for about a minute. Rinse. Use it once a day. Let the bar dry on a draining dish between showers.

How persimmon washes the smell away
For hundreds of years, Japanese families used kakishibu, the tannin-rich juice of green persimmons. It dyed fishing nets, sealed wooden buckets and kept the smell out of fabric.
Soap makers in Japan later put persimmon into bath soap for the same reason. Tannins grab onto odor compounds like nonenal, so they leave your skin with the lather.
